December 2024 Park City Area Update Deer Valley Opens a Week Early! While Deer Valley typically opens the first Saturday of December, "everything aligned perfectly for an early opening day" said resort Director of Communications Emily Summers. The recent storm brought an even coat of white across the Wasatch with 5-6” of snow being reported from most high elevation weather stations.
