Celebrate Independence Day on Historic Main Street
Park City’s Independence Day celebration returns on Saturday, July 4, 2026, with a full day of community festivities set against the backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains. The celebration begins with a morning 5K Fun Run, giving participants an energetic start to the holiday before gathering along Historic Main Street for the beloved Fourth of July Parade at 11:00 a.m.
Following the parade, residents and visitors can head to City Park for an afternoon of games, family activities, food, and community gatherings. The festive atmosphere makes it one of Park City’s most anticipated summer traditions, bringing together locals and visitors alike to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Celebrate Independence Day in Heber Valley
Heber Valley’s annual Red, White & Blue Festival returns with an expanded lineup of events as part of the nation’s upcoming America250 celebration. Designed as a multi-day experience for residents and visitors alike, the festival showcases the community spirit, small-town traditions, and patriotic pride that make the Heber Valley such a special place to spend the Fourth of July.
Festivities begin on July 2 with the popular "Heber Market on Main", featuring local vendors, food, live music, and family-friendly entertainment. The celebration continues throughout the week with concerts, community gatherings, and special events leading up to Independence Day.
On July 4, activities kick off early with hot air balloon events, 5K and 10K races, a patriotic parade through Heber City, Freedom Train excursions, and a full day of festivities at Heber City Park. Families can enjoy free hot dogs, cornhole tournaments, pie-eating and root beer chugging contests, live entertainment, and the always-popular Guns vs. Hoses Tug o’ War.

For those seeking a classic hometown Independence Day celebration, Midway’s annual Fourth of July festivities deliver a memorable day filled with tradition, community spirit, and patriotic pride. The celebration begins at sunrise with the iconic cannon blast from Memorial Hill, followed by a flag-raising ceremony at Midway Town Square featuring patriotic speakers, honored citizen recognitions, and performances by the Swiss Handbells and Swiss Chorus.
Families can gather for the popular pancake breakfast before children take center stage in the festive patriotic bike parade. In the evening, the Utah Symphony returns to Midway Town Square as part of the America 250 Music Elevated State Tour, offering a free outdoor concert beneath the Wasatch
Mountains. The celebration concludes with a spectacular fireworks display over Memorial Hill, lighting up the valley and creating the perfect finale to one of the Wasatch Back’s most cherished Independence Day traditions.
