SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL Honoring Its Final Chapter in Park City As the final Park City–based Sundance Film Festival approaches, our community is reflecting with deep gratitude. For more than forty years, Sundance helped transform Park City from a historic mountain town into an international center for independent film, creativity, and cultural exchange. Each January, filmmakers, artists, journalists, and visitors infused the city with an energy that shaped our arts scene and our identity. The festival’s impact extended As Sundance prepares for its next chapter elsewhere, its legacy remains unmistakable: decades of economic vitality, global visibility, and a creative spirit that continues to define our community. If attending has ever been on your list, this is the moment. The festival returns January 22–February 1 for its final run in Park City and Salt Lake City before relocating in 2027. All festival packages are sold out, but single tickets go on sale TODAY, Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m. Mountain Time.

Here are the standout happenings shaping the after‑hours scene this year. The Marquis Park City – The Premiere SeriesPark City’s biggest festival‑week music lineup returns with nationally recognized artists performing throughout Sundance. Here are some of the performers: Fri, Jan. 23rd: DJ PEE WEE – the all-vinyl DJ alter-ego of Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak, known for energetic, nostalgic sets featuring funk, disco, and soul. Fri, Jan. 30th: Diplo – the genre‑blending DJ, producer, and global hitmaker known for high‑energy sets that fuse electronic, dancehall, house, and world rhythms. Sat, Jan. 31st: ZHU – the Grammy‑nominated electronic producer, vocalist, and DJ known for dark, atmospheric sets that blend house, techno, and hypnotic live instrumentation. Beyond concerts, the venue also hosts ChefDance dinners, DJ sets, fashion events, and private showcases.
