MOAB IN THE SPRING

Looking for a quick getaway? Moab is just a 3.5–4 hour drive from Park City and makes for an easy weekend road trip this time of year. Whether you’re camping, climbing, hiking, or just soaking up the red rock views, there’s something for everyone.

Where to Stay

• At Under Canvas Moab you can sleep under endless star-filled skies, enjoy
  celestial-themed culinary offerings, star parties and more. With easy access to Arches and Canyonlands National Park, DarkSky Parks, Under Canvas Moab is the perfect place for your star-filled adventure.
• Utahraptor State Park offers convenient camping not far off Highway 191. It’s a great central spot to meet up with friends, with campsites surrounded by climbing and bouldering areas perfect for
  exploring.
• Hoodoo Moab, Curio Collection by Hilton offers views of Moab’s red rocks 10 minutes from Arches National Park. It’s a block from Main Street and Canyonlands National Park is 30 miles away. Where to Hike
Fisher Towers is a scenic must. While parts of the trail include ladders and narrow ledges, most hikers (including kids) find it manageable. The views are worth it.

After a day outside, head into town for dinner. We recommend:

• Zax Restaurant’s upstairs deck is a prime hangout spot—covered, spacious, and perfect for catching a game on TV.
